The Keswick Team not only sponsored the inaugural Pathway to Purpose: Youth Finance Summit which took place on November 8, 2025, at the University of the Virgin Islands, but we volunteered our time and expertise to the event as well.
The Pathway to Purpose Summit, hosted by the Aliyah Boston Foundation, was a free all-day event open to 100 8th-9th graders throughout the Territory. The goal of the event was to expose young virgin islanders to important financial topics, including budgeting, credit scores, and investing. This included both lectures and hands-on activities facilitated by local guest speakers.
The VI Ventures (simulated town) portion of the day allowed the participants to act as both employees and customers of various local businesses and organizations. As one of the participating businesses, Keswick set up a storefront and was able to teach students about working for a car insurance company and coaching them through selling insurance to the student customers. This simulation allowed for hands on experience for the students and was a fun way for the Keswick Team to give back to the community.
Keswick is always to support unique opportunities that benefit the community, and this event allowed us to not only contribute financially, but to interact with the student participants and share our knowledge with the next generation.
