Keswick Insurance has been a long-time supporter and contributor to the “My Brother’s Workshop” non-profit organization on St. Thomas. On Friday, December 9th, a ground-breaking ceremony with Governor Bryan took place in Donoe where construction of a new My Brother’s Workshop campus is slated to begin. This long-anticipated project includes a 30,000-foot campus for additional programs including parenting and child care service classes, retail experience, family counseling, automotive, heavy equipment, appliance, and electronics classes. Other developments for the campus include a workshop center, community center, amphitheater, banquet hall, disaster response, mentoring, and mental health programs.

In a recent article in the St Thomas Source it was stated “The campus is anticipated to be completed in four years. However, MBW is still open to receiving donations and sponsorships to construct the campus. Currently, the organization is seeking to raise $3.9 million to fund the first phase of the three-phase project and so far has reached 47 percent of its goal.”

At Keswick we are excited to see our contributions and those of others being put to use in such an impactful way for the Virgin Islands community and we will continue to support MBW as their expansion project continues!
